Yavonne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from the University of Arkansas. She joined the SIU Internal Audit department in 2006, and has a special interest in fraud, forensic accounting, and continuous auditing. She holds four audit-specific certifications, including the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Governmental Auditing Professional (CGAP), Certified Financial Crimes Specialist (CFCS), and Certified Internal Controls Auditor (CICA).
Yavonne loves traveling and creating memories with her family and friends, both of which provide many photos which she plans to scrapbook someday very soon!
