Biography of Paulette Dove
Paulette Dove serves as Senior Counsel for Health Affairs at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield.
Prior to joining Southern Illinois University, Paulette worked with physicians, medical providers, regulators and insurers in a variety of settings. Most recently, Paulette worked for the state of Illinois Department of Insurance as General Counsel and Deputy Director of Health Products, and for the Department on Aging as Deputy General Counsel. Before joining the state, Paulette established the legal team for a rapidly growing physician group, and also spent fifteen years in private practice. During her time in private practice, Paulette represented physicians, nursing homes, insurance companies and litigated complex civil matters.
Paulette graduated from the Washington University College of Law at the American University, and completed her undergraduate work at the State University of New York at Albany.
