Quality Assurance Improvement Program
The SIU Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) is designed to evaluate all aspects of the internal audit function. It includes, but is not limited to:
- Internal and external assessments to ensure conformance with Global Internal Audit Standards
- Performance measurements to track progress toward audit objectives
- Compliance reviews with applicable laws and regulations
- Continuous improvement efforts to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness
Annually, the Chief Audit Executive communicates the results of the QAIP to both the Board of Trustees Audit Committee and senior university leadership.
