Welcome to the Southern Illinois University Budget/Institutional Reporting Office.
The Budget/Institutional Reporting Office is responsible for coordinating the Operating and Capital budget development for the Southern Illinois University System which includes SIU Carbondale (SIUC), including the School of Medicine in Springfield, and SIU Edwardsville (SIUE), encompassing the East St. Louis Center and the School of Dental Medicine in Alton. It is also responsible for submitting the University’s budget request to IBHE and the Legislature.
Reports include:
- University Annual Operating and Capital Budget document
- Budget Book submission to the Office of Management and Budget
- Operating and Capital RAMP reporting to IBHE
- ISL Budget submittal to state legislature
- Year End Financial Reporting to SIU Board of Trustees
Institutional reporting responsibilities include:
- Reporting institutional data on the University System to Federal and State agencies and other educational agencies
- Developing System dashboards and other reports on institutional data for the President, the Board of Trustees and senior staff
- Providing the national surveys on faculty, staff, and students
