Student Reports
Community engagement provides a rich context for learning and development of students. The Office of Community Engagement (OCE) offers rich opportunities for students to participate in and co-create academically based community engaged learning experiences that strengthens their ability to be involved, civic-minded community members, professionals, and scholars. (See Roadmap #3) OCE, furthermore, values the contributions of students in addressing real-world challenges through research and analysis.
Our Student Reports showcase work produced as part of OCE partnerships and academic coursework, ranging from concise one-page summaries to in-depth master’s theses. These reports reflect students’ engagement with pressing social, economic, and environmental issues, providing fresh perspectives and innovative solutions for community partners. By integrating academic learning with hands-on experience, students contribute to meaningful change while developing critical research and analytical skills.
