Welcome to the Office of the Vice President of Anti-racism, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

The Office of Anti-racism, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (OADEI) coordinates all system diversity and equity programs, non-discrimination policies and equal opportunity compliance matters, including affirmative action and Title IX. Additionally, the office is responsible for coordinating system efforts to develop and maintain an antiracist, equitable, diverse and inclusive community in furtherance of the mission of excellence in teaching, research and service.

Through informed and respectful discourse, the OADEI collaborates with system stakeholders at all levels to allocate resources and drive accountability for measures that strengthen equitable policies and a sense of belonging within the SIU community.
